INCENSE BANGLE

Scent, ritual, and release in the absence of sight.

Created for a project where the exhibition was held in complete darkness, this piece shifts attention away from the visual and towards the senses. When you can’t see, everything else becomes sharper - especially smell, touch, and awareness of your own body.

The bangle is worn throughout the day. Its domed form is imagined as a space that gathers your thoughts, worries, and emotions as they come and go. It becomes something that holds what you carry.

At the end of the day - or whenever you need to pause - you take it off and begin a small ritual. An incense cone is lit, and you sit with it in the dark. The glow and the scent slowly fill the space.

As the smoke rises, it becomes a way of letting go. A moment to sit with everything, and then allow it to pass.

It’s a simple act, but intentional - creating space to release the day and reset before moving forward.
